The AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo was filled with hundreds of students from all over Metro Manila and other cities in Luzon to be enlightened in COMGUILD's First IT Conference for Students 2009.

The event, with the theme of “Information and Communication Management in the Digital Age” was well attended not just by students but also with different companies who support this outstanding endeavor. NEO, an IT company itself was surely present as the students were enlightened by different speakers who are well versed in their respective line of work.
Executive Dir. Palmer Mallari of the NBI Anti Fraud and Computer Crimes Division edified the students with what they need to know in keeping themselves protected from internet crimes as well as making sure that they themselves are not committing anything against the law. Mr. Robert Orola of Pinoy Robot Foundation showed the beauty and the craft behind the worlds most advanced robots and their amazing capabilities as well as our very own robotic projects. Other key speakers inlcude Mr. Benjo Caesar Tinsay from Glow 3D Animation, Mr. Mikko Antila from BSA Outscourcing Inc., Mr. Michael Sumera from GMA New Media Inc., and Engr. John Jovilla from MAPUA Institute of Technology.
This event was hosted by Ms. Cecille Lardizabal and Mr. Joey Villarama, news reporters from ABS-CBN Channel 2, as well as Ms. Bernadette Reyes and Mr. Raffy Tima, news reporters from GMA 7.
